The job seems very glamorous as you work from the Morgan Stanley office in Canary Wharf and attend fancy corporate events. Opportunities for business travel once you gain more experience at the job.

Poor management, long work hours with hardly any breaks, inadequate training, very little tolerance for mistakes, endless workload, complete disregard of staff wellbeing, average salary, boring soulless money-driven event product at the end. You're basically treated like a robot that can't have needs and feelings and must complete insane amounts of work at any cost.

There's a great vibe in the office - lots of really experienced people having fun at their jobs. Lots of autonomy. The offices may not have exposed brick, but they are quite funky - a loft-style kitchen with free fruit (and various people bring in cake, choc-ices and other fun stuff). There are some good social events, too. Most of the office is hotdesking (with lockers) and many people do a day a week from home.
