Pros

Lomond is a fantastic place to work. The team is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the office is beautiful and the location near Liverpool Street is super convenient. My manager, Tara, is amazing. She’s always supportive and helpful. The overall work environment and culture are really positive. We even went bowling recently as a team, which was a lot of fun. It’s a great place to enjoy your work.

Cons

I live out of London so the commute is quite long and I find that I don't have much left of my day after work and the tube gets very busy and hot in the morning.

Pros

They make the rest of the industry look good by being so bad

Cons

They are the classic private equity model where profit and scale are the primary objectives, whilst doing their best to pull the wool over the eyes of employees and clients by claiming they are making things better. The only thing they seem to do well is marketing and manipulating staff. It is run by a group of ex Foxtons employees who all know each other but appear to lack the vision that made Foxtons successful, instead focusing mainly on lining their own pockets. At some stage, the backers will realise they are losing clients and damaging the brands they acquire. Eventually they may find they cannot recover what they invested, and many of the business owners who sold to them will likely regret doing so. It feels like a slightly more sophisticated modern day pyramid scheme.

Pros

Nothing positive about this company

Cons

Management absolutely does not care about the employees. They just keep buying more and more agencies, they make people redundant and put HUGE amount of pressure on the remaining employees. Horrible place to work at which is a shame as i used to love working for the agency before it was brought by Lomond.
