Pros

If you are reading this as a prospective employee at Logz.io, my advice would be to prepare well for your interview and whatever you do, get the job. Opportunities like this don't come around often. The company has good products and several unfair advantages over the competition, not the least of which is their close affiliation with an open source community comprised of over 700,000 organisations. The product strategy is being set by some of the smartest people in the industry who have the confidence of a very impressive board of directors - just go and look them up on Crunchbase. Serious dudes, all. They are also in a hot space and are the only privately-owned company in the leaders' circle of a sector where stock valuations are soaring - so the equity offered to employees is extremely meaningful at this point in time. 'Customer Obsession' is considered a core value and it shows. Customers love the product. Take a look at G2 Crowd for their scores and reviews. Despite all of this, the company has a relaxed, tolerant culture of care and support which all seems to stem from the CEO - who is possibly one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Cons

To be honest. It's no place for wimps. As with any high-growth start-up the levels of accountability are extremely high and change is constant. If you are one of those people looking to coast along in your role then this probably isn't the company for you. If you want to make an impact, work with some exciting people, learn and grow - then you've found your home.
