Pros

Remote job, good coworkers, used to be great

Cons

LP used to be a pretty good place to work. These days, it's rough. I feel like LP is taking advantage of our clients. The company line is to upsell them on services like Microsoft that we know ahead of time won't work, and often when the ads aren't working for them the PMAMs are told to say whatever we need to to keep them around so we don't have to take a red. Feels pretty unethical. On top of that, our workload almost doubled over the past year and it was at the point where expectations were unreasonable and I felt like I was letting my clients down. I just didn't have the time to give every account the attention it needed with the way book sizes were. On top of that, LP let go of some of the people that understood our day to day work flow. Like legacy people who have been with the company for almost a decade, let go without warning. I hate the cut-throat corporate culture that doesn't appreciate the hard work people have put in to making their company great. Overall, very disappointed with the direction LP is moving in. It's not going to exist in another three years, so I'm glad I got out while I could. I'd recommend others do the same.

Pros

Great team of people on every level, from the training to the teams we are on when we get started- everyone is so supportive and they really make the workday more fun. The training and the amount of resources available really do lay a foundation for success in this role that's hard to beat.

Cons

It's hard to say that there are really any "cons" because this job is entirely what you make of it.
