Pros

This is the first sales job I have ever had. I didn’t think sales would ever be for me, because deep down I’m somewhat of an introvert, but man is this job great. It’s tough at the beginning don’t get me wrong with building your pipeline and finding the industries that you’re most comfortable with but after you get your first sale it’s all comes together. The culture here is amazing as well. It feels more like a family than coworkers.

Cons

Beginning pay is a little low at 12 an hour but I understand that the company doesn’t want to waste money on a position that really isn’t meant for them in the long run. After six months you need to hit 2000 quota to get your books for that cycle which is a little unfair to me seeing that you got LP those clients are they’re getting paid and I’m not.

I'm really happy to hear about your experience. The reason behind requiring new sales to obtain books is that we have an uncapped commission model. When a large deal is closed, if we didn't have minimum required sales, one could just rest on that single account. Over time that would be a bad equation for the company and for the rep. We have started to adjust this with consistent performance (BDE, Pres Club - guaranteed books) and I think we will continue to move in this direction, especially for those with tenure. I like your point on more roleplay practice and will definitely make sure that gets to our education team. Thank you again for your feedback and for everything you do.

Pros

Great team of people on every level, from the training to the teams we are on when we get started- everyone is so supportive and they really make the workday more fun. The training and the amount of resources available really do lay a foundation for success in this role that's hard to beat.

Cons

It's hard to say that there are really any "cons" because this job is entirely what you make of it.
