Pros
Note for the Readers - Thoroughly go through all the reviews on glassdoor before joining this company, it will give a clear idea as to which reviews are original and which are merely made by Management/HR to maintain a good rating. This can save you from regretting later. Cons:- 1. This company was found in 1997 and has other subsidiaries like Mediant Systems, Mediant Energy, Mediant Cable, Mediant Broadband, etc, despite all, the total company's strength is around 40-50 people or even less. A startup, which is still a startup even after a long span, itself gives an answer about the work culture, management, and the head. In the name of flexibility, they make people work for longer hours, day and night, on weekends too. You'll get comp offs but will never get a chance to redeem, before that you'll like putting a resignation letter on HR's table. You'll hardly get 4-5 hours of sleep. So, the crux is, you should forget that you have a family too. They take many projects and tries to get them done by one developer, constantly keep on pressurizing them until they leave. For the new joiners, don't expect any kind of training, tasks will be assigned right from the first day. You'll be treated like Superman with superpowers, and then being exhausted you'll leave the company within 2-3 days of joining. The interesting part is, Management, who has no idea of technical terminology and processes, will manage the core technical projects. They will be on your head all the time and will never leave a chance of interfering. Being completely unknown of the fact that how much time a particular task takes, they will keep on poking you. Lots of favoritism is there. "They keep one developer for multiple projects because of that when you resign from the company there is no one to take handover of your work and projects, and they will pressurize you to not relieve you until someone gets hired and you provide all the KT to them and nobody gets hired till your notice period ends because nobody wants to work here because of the worst management and because of that they will try to extend your notice period and keep grinding you at work on your notice period too". Copy pasted from somebody else's review because no other words can better describe this. Excellent explanation, completely true. The work assigned to you is far behind the industrial standards, you'll find it hard to add something new to your resume. One will find it difficult to stand in the competitive industry, not much learning and growth is there. The behavior of upper management and the head is completely unethical and demotivating, make the use of harsh words, puts their frustration on others. Coming onto Salary, for which a person works harder, to support his/her family. Salaries are generally delayed by 1-2 months. Most of the time people need to remind the management of salary as they've forgotten that the person does exist in the company. Complete disbalance of financials. Eventually, if you have taken the decision of leaving the company, they won't let you go easily. They strictly follow the quote of LIC Jeevan beema - "company k saath bhi company k baad bhi", so they will be troubling you even after leaving the company. As they won't clear your full and final settlements or salary. It takes many years for the clearance of dues. You'll keep contacting them while getting no answers and by the time they will forget you. So, in the end, make a wise selection for your career.
Cons
Rather than joining this company, work on your core skills by joining a good institute that further provide placement options. At least the time won't go wasted.
