Pros

This hospitality company has a unique and meaningful set of core values that the executives regularly try to see through. The leadership team from corporate genuinely cares and you feel it at property level. You are treated with respect and respect is given to life circumstances that you may encounter. They are truly paving the way for what it should be like to work in the hospitality industry and I hope other, larger, hospitality management companies follow their lead.

Cons

It is a smaller company so that naturally restricts some of your career growth options. They know this and they are constantly working to provide growth opportunities for their talent. LDHG has an aggressive growth target that I genuinely hope they meet so that they can continue to offer more growth opportunities.

Pros

You have a job; just that, nothing more

Cons

The Wilde resort and spa is not a good fit for great peactitioners. Every therapist that is looking for a workplace where an employee is respected, heard and valued, should look for an employment elsewhere. Judge for yourself. The Wilde resort and spa was garnishing the spa employees' gratuities until the employees file the complaint to the AZ department of labor. Lodging Dynamics was denying the wrongdoing by the spa director and the resort GM for several months . A long story short: the spa employees finally received the payback. The therapists' commissions' percentage is the lowest among the Sedona resorts. The schedule balancing is another story. You as a provider, not the laundry department, would get blamed for the stained sheets on the massage table. Certain coworkers create big problems for other teammates. The lead therapist wouldn't hesitate to yell at the providers. Overall, the spa environment is simply unprofessional . If you aren't the one who complaints all the time about other spa employees, you are the one who is constantly responding to the complaints. The Wilde spa is a workplace where you get a solid proof that the coworkers are not your friends. There is a handful of decent folks working there though. No employee parking, no break room. One bathroom only. You aren't allowed to use the guests ' bathrooms.
