Pros
PROS: The company really goes the extra mile to organize team socials and get-togethers, which makes the work environment not just productive, but also enjoyable. We have organized bi-monthly socials which allow you to bond with colleagues and build relationships with people you may not work with on a day-to-day basis. The company is also made up of a diverse team which I really appreciated. The company celebrates different cultural holidays which has really allowed me to learn about the cultures and backgrounds of colleagues I work with. The company is very welcoming and I have felt like I belong since day one!
Cons
Because Localcoin has recently expanded outside of Canada, you may be working with people in different time zones. That being said, you might have to work outside 9-5 or change your working schedules from time to time. Doesn’t necessarily bother me, but something to keep in mind.
