Pros
- Empathetic work culture: In almost every conversation I feel like people truly care about each other's well being and make themselves available to help you. Everyday there's someone sharing a bit of their life outside work which creates a very friendly environment. This is particularly true for the founders who are without a doubt the most relatable executives I've worked with. Their transparency, down-to-Earth and people centric approach are huge motivators and differentiators from other companies. - Impact: The company is still in a stage where you can see the impact of your work not only through updates to the product itself but by reading the feedback that customers send. - Mission: Again, this is a people-centric company not only with Lively employees but also in the core of the business. The ultimate goal is to help people live a better life. - Technology and Product: Relatable product with a ton of potential and market opportunities. The architecture of the product, despite some growing pains is simple enough to allow fast iteration and onboarding of engineers.
Cons
- The company is currently transitioning from the startup to the scale-up phase. This means some pieces of the technology need to be changed, teams need to be adjusted which might cause some frustration and fear of missing out.
