Owner is extremely toxic, extremely disrespectful, abusive, and disconnected from reality. They have a zero tolerance 'non-policy' regarding the "shmovid maxine." Non-policy meaning, they state they have no policy, yet will harass you to get "maxinated." I witnessed the owner on multiple accounts argue with and disrespect other employees on team meetings. Anytime anyone stands up to him with an opposing idea he becomes aggressive and abusive. I was asked in my interview if I was "maxinated" to which I answered no. Then I was illegally asked why not. I only ever told him I would consider it, yet he insisted that I told him I would take it. About two weeks in, I started getting asked when I was going to take it. My understanding and beliefs around the "maxine" was still forming to the eventual conclusion that it went against my spiritual beliefs. They eventually sent me to work from home because I was the only "un-maxinated" employee in the entire company; the same day they had a tour group of 8 people with unknown "maxine" status. He would continue to ask me if I was going to take the "maxine" and once I told him it went against my spiritual beliefs, he raged at me for over an hour in the most abusive verbal assault I have ever undergone in my life. He resorted to immature name calling and swearing at me. We had two of these disgusting conversations until he fired me the next day. I was repeatedly informed my position was not a remote position despite the fact that their entire operation is remote (I worked on productions in New York from the Green Bay office). The whole operation is cloud based! He would tell me I was unwilling to work in the office despite the fact that THEY sent me to work from home. I was repeatedly told I was doing a great job while working from home and it was never indicated I was not able to do my job. When I filed a complaint with the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division, their rebuttal lied about when I was fired and when I reported my objection to the "maxine." They have no HR department or any written policies on the "shmovid" issue, and when I asked if the "maxine" was a requirement of employment, he continued to say it was not a requirement of employment and they have no policy. I would advise anyone who has a brain to stay as far away from this company as possible.
