good for your resume you meet like-minded individuals and make connections the intern process (if you have a good lead) is very rewarding and teaches you more than your classes Pay is good compared to other options (12 an hour for employees, raises for leadership or grad students)
Cons
Upper management doesn't listen to student management and creates terrible communication, loss of money, and unnecessary blame and conflict Company often feels like a middle man for other upper management prospects using university money to stay afloat
