Pros

I learned sales skills. Dont have to be around bosses although they call your cell phone to check up on you at weird hours all times of the day. Some people are cool.

Cons

The hiring managers never spoke about pay and even if asked they just brushed right over the fact its 100% commission and talked about how much money you "could" make. They never tell you what 1099 really is. They dont tell you your using your own car, own gas, and have to split commissions if you work with someone else, and that person can do 50/50 or 60/40 if they choose. You have to figure that out on your own once your in. If you have any questions they will give you the run around and just keep talking about if your "all in" and how much other people are making that work 6-7 days a week. They do not give you a job description or say its door to door sales and that you will get 99% rejections and deal with the worst of the worst types of people. They seem to highlight the few good things about the job and completely forget about the real stuff that you have to do and pay for. They hire you and charge you $50 for a police card and shirt before you event start so they get covered that way. Some people start off on Van and go knocking door to door in crime areas, some people start off on leads to new home owners in good areas. The fact door to door sales is still happening takes balls, and I would say suckers. There are 1% of people who are really good at it and CAN hustle people door to door, they really can make good money, but for a job that they make you feel guilty about if you ONLY work 5 days a week, I saw myself getting sucked in to the "rat race" of door to door sales, you can go 1-2 weeks without getting deals, and your expenses in getting gas, buying food for work, car maintenance, really add up. And the solution? Work more! you cant get deals if your not working out in the Field! Simple Joe is working 7 days a week and look how much he makes!! I would have had more respect for this place if they were upfront about the actual job during the interview/hiring process process, that way you can make a decision if its for you or not. If your smart, get this job if you want to learn sales skills and get out, dont do it long term. If you use this job as a stepping stone to better yourself then take advantage of that but dont look for this place to be a place to grow in. They hang a carrot in front of your face and expect you to keep chasing after it.

A great environment and a welcoming feel. The company gets me excited to work and i feel i have stability

Pros

Tons of opportunity to make money as long as you put the effort in. The people are great and they take time to train you the right way. I’ve been with other companies, but never received the kind of support I’ve gotten here.

Cons

Great company but I didn’t realize I had to split a commission with a sitter. They worked it out and now I know for the future.
