Pros

I’ve had a positive experience working at LivGreen overall. The team is one of the strongest aspects of the company, colleagues are supportive, approachable, and genuinely willing to help each other out, which creates a good working atmosphere. The role offers a lot of variety, and there are opportunities to take on responsibility and learn quickly, especially if you’re proactive and willing to get stuck in. The work itself feels meaningful, particularly being part of projects that contribute to sustainability and improving homes. Management is relatively young, but they are hardworking, approachable, and genuinely care about the work and the team. In my experience, they are always willing to offer support and guidance when needed, which makes a positive difference.

Cons

That said, the company is still growing, and there are areas that could be improved. At times, processes and communication can be inconsistent, which can make things feel a bit disorganised. But overall, it’s a good place to work with a strong team culture, especially for people who are adaptable and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Pros

Excellent environment. Team very engaged and made me feel welcome from Day 1. A real sense of teamwork with everyone supporting each other.

Cons

Some of the residents are tricky but LivGreens proactive approach with resident first and engagement really helps

Pros

There is one pro - the people (not leadership) are a really great bunch trying their hardest to make the best of a bad situation.

Cons

Expect long hours, low pay, immense responsibility - and no respect. As well as a frustrating lack of consistency in processes, and a sole focus on revenue generation. - There is no training, you're in at the deep end making critical decisions almost immediately. Unsurprisingly, things go wrong, a lot! - Leadership team is 99% male (often very young men...), lacking any emotional intelligence, and totally out of touch with even 101 in employee wellbeing. - Little to no flexibility to work from home for some roles. Making for very long days with minimal breaks. - Absolute bottom of the barrel bare minimum statutory everything on the benefits front - from holidays (you have to use 4-5 days for xmas) to sick pay (there is none!). You get the impression they'd give you less if they could... Unsurprisingly turnover is high and expertise is scant. Please think hard before accepting a role here - it will grind you down.
