Pros

even the colleagues say location, however, it's not meaningful since you do not have time to go out and see nearby except lunchbreak :)

Cons

- no proper HR organization, doesn't keep their promises at all. - boss company, everything is between his lips. - no corporate culture - huge stress, and pressure to employees - significant mobbing especially to Engineering Teams - huge overtimes without getting paid, you've been expected to work in Turkish time-zone and then U.S. time-zone again :) - of course, naturally, huge turn-over - management's natural way of working is that they do not reach their sales targets, and the solution is always laying off people a couple times of one year !!! without giving them anything. - management sets targets really high, then of course everytime they fail. - no planning at all for all projects, targets and deadlines always being delayed.

Pros

Aggressive, invested, eager to help, motivated, VP of Technology is amazing, Partnership Director is Amazing, VP marketing is the best, CEO like any startup CEO has a great and driven vision but at times can get lost in the weeds but his expertise and loyalty make up for it, VP of Sales is new but has every intent of making the sales team ultra successful and is in an uphill battle to organize and change processes for the better. Overall, the Litum family is a great group of people who have a unified goal and want to be ultra successful. Like any start up and growing business there are hiccups along the way, but the team unity and focus is as strong as any company out there. I firmly believe that Litum will become a top 5 healthcare leader in the RTLS space, their technology and understanding of the landscape and changes are top-notch.

Cons

Growing pains, new hires, lack of understanding of the US markets at times, but they quickly rebound and understanding and an investment in the proper tools and consulting. US teams and Turkey teams, sometimes don’t communicate as they should, though it’s to be expected with the time change and locations. I wish that were a stronger relationship, and it is a work in progress. I do wish there were more company building activities and more of a vocalized loyalty. I think most everyone has their head down and it’s just working hard, often times culture and loyalty seems to take a backseat. It’s not on purpose, but something I think should be noted. Lastly, more company communication on goals, revenue, and outcomes. Sometimes I feel like I’m in the dark of where we really sit and what we’re really trying to do. I would appreciate more communication among the teams and a larger company meeting at least once a month or quarter at the very least. Overall, they really aren’t any cons with Litum other than a growing tech company. If you’re looking for a well established company with bulletproof processes, and heavy hand holding for new employees, Litum may not be the best fit. However if you’re willing to come in and roll your sleeves up, be assertive, creative, and get dirty, Litum is a great place to work. The fulfillment of building a company and bring part of something potentially huge outweighs any cons.
