Pros
-The kids always had a wonderful time.
-The concept of the school is amazing. I'm sure other locations are well-run.
Cons
-So many duties are put onto one person at a time, the wage does not make sense for the actual job.
-The boss was very rude, not polite, smelled really bad all of the time, would tell us employees that he was wearing the same shirt/pants/socks/etc he had been wearing for multiple days previously, and did not ask people to uphold proper food handling techniques
-The boss also was incredibly upset anytime someone asked for time off, even if it was months in advance
-The boss would ignore employees and treat them poorly. He was noticeably more mean to his LGBTQ+ employees.
-It was so unbelievably hot in the building-this is because the boss did not know how to turn on the AC and so many ovens would be on at a time. The kids seemed fine, but as an adult who had to teach multiple classes a day you got really sweaty.
-We had to share work shoes which was not clean.
-You had to do an incredible amount of dishes with only 30 minutes in between 3 hours classes. We absolutely need more than 30 minutes.
-The founder of this location said several inappropriate comments to me about the children. One comment he made was in regards to a 4 year old student he claimed to be "flirting" with him. I disagreed and told him children do not flirt and he got upset with my response.
-This location is now closed thank goodness. I don't think the people who opened this location were equipped to work with children in this capacity.
