Pros
Leadership is open to hearing feedback and tries to make changes accordingly. I feel that they really care about their employees. The new CEO, Curtis, makes an effort to get to know everyone. Litify is a great product. There's so much room to expand in the industry and we have a few big names in newer practice areas. We've had a lot of boomerang employees come back after leaving, and we're surrounded by great teams. Work life balance is strong. I'm encouraged to take PTO when my manager realizes I haven't taken enough. Litify now has a 401k match, which was a big ask from employees for years, and that's been positive. They listened and made it happen. In the last year Litify got a new CEO, Curtis, who is business-minded and has provided real structure and organization in a way that didn't exist before. Litify has also hired a real sales leader this year who is a big advocate for the reps. He has a lot of different kinds of experience and is steering the ship in a positive direction. Communication of expectations has been clear. The events the company hosts are really great, clients love them. We also had a great all-hands onsite this year, a sales kick-off onsite, and they recently announced that they brought back the Presidents Club Trip (which hasn't happened for the last two years). This is important because so many Litify employees are remote. Recently opened a new Manhattan office location right in midtown. There is mandatory office appearance 6 days of the month, which I've heard mixed feedback on... great to see everyone but 3 days in a row is a lot.
Cons
The product continues to evolve, and in newer business areas it still has a lot of growing to do. You have to be gritty to work here. AE sales cycle is long and difficult in newer markets where we don't have strong references yet. Pay structure changes in 2024 have been unfavorable. In Sales we used to do very well and the uncapped commission was great, but now on my team commission payouts are much lower than prior years, and I am now paid below market rate OTE for my experience level and location. Both a pro and con- recently bought out by Bessemer Venture Partners. This is a con because they've been very strict with budget. It's a pro because we've gotten strong direction and I can tell it's been good for the company as far as operations.
