Pros
The people were nice and welcoming, good place to get some first job experience. Great HRA Benefit Semi-flexible hours: You have to work 40 hours a week per normal, but it doesn't matter when you put those hours in. Theoretically depending on your role you could work 4 10 hour days and take Friday off. That's not the norm, but if you need a 3 day weekend for say a wedding, you can do that without taking vacation time.
Cons
Most of these cons come from being a small company: Lack of vacation time; they just couldn't afford it in terms of manpower General unprofessionalism: this pertains to my direct boss. She was the Owner/CEO's wife and it was clear she never wanted to be there but was roped into it. They couldn't afford to hire a fulltime CFO. She was not rude, she just didn't do her job, heck she wasn't even there half the time. No upward mobility: It's a small company, there was like 15 people in the main office when I was there, you won't get promoted anytime soon. QA was literally one person.
