Pros
Had a great Manager - he left the team to do what they were employed to do. He never micro-managed. He enabled his team to make their own decisions. Have a strong and loyal customer base. Know their markets very well and can therefore identify possible opportunities.
Cons
They do not pay competitive salaries and are not willing to consider the contribution of employees and base packages on the value-add people offer the team as a whole. They changed the packages of staff without proper consultation of staff. We were called into meetings to 'negotiate' but ended up having a 'take it or leave it conversation instead. '
