Pros

Company name on the cv

Cons

Probably one of the worst places I have ever worked. The company is full of managers who have been in the business 7 years plus, with no skill, expertise or capability. 90% of employees book meeting rooms for free food and do no work all day. Management are only happy if you’re constantly working late. Managers have no management expertise, just the title. Promotion, feedback is based on if your liked, or if you are social, not performance. Business teams are made of unintelligent women in high positions using their power to discriminate at any point. There is no progression, training or support provided. Managers /Employees will be nice to your face and then use every opportunity to stab you in the back. Linklaters has unrealistic targets to increase revenue but will never reach this, till they wipe out departments and people who have no value, showing a loss to the company. This is easily seen but will never be done as managers/ heads will always come out with "I'm the CEO's best friend".

Pros

Positive, supportive and collaborative team. Really upholds the company values promoted. Business teams have good work-life balance.

Cons

Contributions are valued but the work done feels like it has little to no impact on the wider picture. Risk as company is looking to streamline and cut costs on business teams.
