Pros

The only positive I can think of from working in a toxic environment such as this is that in your next job you will seek out authenticity and be aware of the red flags. I will never be able to get back the time I lost working here, but I have learned the valuable lesson that no job is worth your happiness.

Cons

First, this is essentially an entry level job that requires a degree, but you are paid well below the competitive market rate, especially for the expensive area in which the office is located. Almost all employees besides management still live at home with their parents. From my own experience, I can confidently tell you that this job is not conducive for anyone that covers all their expenses themselves. “We work hard but we chill harder” was the ending of the job posting when I applied. A start-up feel with supportive management, growth opportunities, and a collaborative environment is what I was sold; however, none of these characteristics were true. The manager I worked with had never been able to keep a subordinate for longer than a couple months due to avid complaints; however, this person still remains in a management position. There is even an individual whose sole purpose seems to be policing the office and looking for ways to single out employees at company meetings. Just at a glance you can notice how uncomfortable most people are with this one presence, but due to the long friendship with the CEO, this person too remains in power. I can recount feeling downtrodden just about any time I had to interact with either individual. You are watched like a hawk both in the open-space office and out as the CEO installed video cameras all throughout the office for “ insurance purposes”. It’s obvious we are being spied on by the co-founders at their home. There is no true break room so often no one ever actually takes a break. I would time my bathroom breaks to make sure my chair was not seen idle for any longer than 5-10 minutes. And if you want to take a relaxing lunch, your options are to sit outside (which is frowned upon as it seems exclusive) or in the kitchen where you get to stare at the TV which illuminates constantly updating employee-named graphs detailing how you are performing in contrast to your peers. Yes, in a sales environment it makes sense to display, but the metrics are indefinitely misleading as each person is working on a different position with various clients within the company. They will tell you it’s not public shaming but deep down it feels just that. To speak on the culture, ultimately, you do not fit in if you don’t choose to conform and act identical to the veteran employees. If you show any individuality, you are targeted because you speak up about visible injustices, micro-managed to the edge, and deterred from having any semblance of work-life balance. The vibe in the office is inherently militant as most of the leaders served in the Israeli army. There were times that the office was so eerily quiet that I would feel physically ill. The fact that they brand themselves as an international recruiting firm is laughable. I think there was maybe one company that was not Israeli during the whole time I worked there. The “like-me” bias shines through in every facet of the recruiting process both internally and within the process of the clients you are recruiting for. Quickly you will realize that diverse candidates are not often accepted by hiring managers. The job itself is quite frustrating as you are tasked with selling these lackluster companies as a 3rd party to people that are not even open to new opportunities. And if you can get as far as a phone call with them, most candidates will do research into the org you are selling and decline after looking into their practices. Some clients even had past criminal offenses against them, easily found through a quick google search and headline skim. This is a family business with disgusting favoritism and non-existent values. There is actually no HR in place so leaders get away with racist comments and essentially cruel termination practices. All all, if you have respect for yourself and you want to actually have a career in recruiting, do not work here.

Pros

I came with past experience in recruiting and ended up learning a whole new craft in how to be a headhunter! The company provides great hands-on training and I've already been able to take on more responsibility with clients and work on more senior positions. We specialize in tech startups too so we get to work with founders and investors, and learn about new technologies and products all the time. I've already learned so much about new technologies and industries even just in the first few months! The team is super nice and has been extremely helpful as well.

Cons

The company is fully remote, which I know isn't for everyone. I actually love being remote and being able to make my own schedule but if you're not experienced working remotely it can be a transition.

Pros

I have nothing but great things to say about this company! I started to work at Link2USA as a Recruiter over a year and a half ago (almost 2 years), after less than a year of working as a Recruiter, my manager offered me the opportunity to grow into a management position. The funny thing is that my manager believed in me more than I believed in myself and because of that, I’m facing new challenges almost on a daily basis while getting all the support I need from my manager and the amazing team at Link2USA. Going into this company has been the best decision I've ever made - I've grown personally, professionally, and financially in less than 2 years. The management is amazing and they are really care and invest in your training and growth. The culture is great and collaborative. I love every person at this company and I mainly love that I can ask help from anyone and I will always get the help I need and even more. I have been so lucky to meet some of my closest friends through this job. I’m challenged to learn and grow each day and I really have fun while doing so! So if you want to grow, challenge yourself and you are not afraid from hard work – Link2USA is the place for you!

Cons

Being a pro Recruiter in the tech space is a stressful role, you have to work hard or else you are not going to be successful. If you are someone that can't handle and work in a dynamic environment, this is not the right opportunity for you. It is important to know that anything you work this hard for in this company leads to an amazing level of satisfaction.
