Pros
-Clear and swift communication during hiring process -Fantastic guidance during training phase, questions were appreciated and answered in-depthly and with a lot of patience and effort -When starting at Lingoda, I was told that the company values the skills gained in previous employments. This couldn't be more true and I am more than happy to also get to work in translation on top of my tasks in the student support team. My previous employments had a translation/writing focus and I am more than satisfied to get to put these skills to use at Lingoda despite having applied thinking I would be doing student support only. This keeps me very motivated as I feel incredibly valued, and getting to contribute the most I can makes me feel good about myself, the work I do and the company. -Generally, I feel like Lingoda is a company that values constructive input. Conversation gets in-depth, also with supervisors, and it never feels like a bother if you have an extra question or voice something that is on your mind. This is really great, as communication is the key for a happy and healthy work life.
Cons
As cliché as it may sound, I have yet to experience something that strikes me as negative, so I will just say: Communication Communication can always be better, so making sure communication between supervisors and employees is even clearer and as straight forward as possible to avoid confusion and ensure that tasks are understood by everyone in the team. This way, the scenario that some team members know things very well whereas others struggle to understand and may make minor mistakes can be avoided. Checking if everyone understood tasks can be tiring and there may not be always time, but it may help the bigger picture.
