      Pros

      Employees are brilliant. We are working on a really hard problem, improving batteries to make them more affordable and safe. Learning and growing are top values and the open welcoming culture makes that possible. For a start up our policy and procedures are way ahead of most firms our age.

      Cons

      Con is also a pro - all policies/procedures are not set. Bad because we sometimes develop solutions on the fly, as the situation demands. Good because we can make them be whatever we want. Comp and benefits are solid but not always inspiring. Equity in the growing firm is good but it takes a long time to get vested.

      Pros

      The work is challenging and there is a lot to do, but the mission is important, and the technology is interesting. The team has some very smart and kind people. Customers seem to be eager to work with our team and technology. Exciting to be bringing something new and impactful to the market.

      Cons

      The company's goals are very ambitious, which is good, but also means that sometimes expectations and pressure are very high. Typical early-stage start-up.

      Ability to thrive in your own project. Check-ins with managers are down to earth. Lunches are great.

      Subtle work-life balance issue but what start-up isn't
