Pros

Can't say there are any at all other than work life balance is decent.

Cons

This is such an interesting place. They pride themselves on having a great culture, yet barely put in any effort. No one is held to the same standard. There is zero collaboration. The 'bullpen' is radio silent all day long. No one is personable. They mention all the benefits of working there like wfh fridays and remote august (which are great!), but i'd rather work 5 days in office than be there. Their sick day policy makes no sense. They've made some pretty terrible hiring decisions but make no effort to fix it. Surveys are sent out to gauge employee feedback but nothing is ever done or changed. Egos are through the roof.

Pros

Awesome culture coupled with a great tone at the top. WFH Fridays and generous WFH days offered throughout year. Firm is also WFH for the whole month of August which is a differentiating perk.

Cons

There are none to me.

Pros

Some of the people are nice (not many in upper management) Slight work/life balance Nothing else.

Cons

No opportunity for advancement, would rather hire out and pay that person double despite having less experience than promote a current candidate who's performance and experience is excellent. Senior management. The Managing Partner and the General Counsel as already named here are toxic, toxic individuals. Employment abuse was a frequent occurrence. They actually had to hire a coach specifically for the General Counsel. Managing partner makes disparaging remarks about other employees, very unprofessional, and needs training in leadership and social interaction skills. The General Counsel is the only person to report problems to and is the largest organizational issue. The culture is toxic from the top down. Also, no work from home at all. Archaic in many ways. Genuinely unhappy and mean people in leadership - who wants to be around that negativity?
