Pros

Great benefits! Excellent medical coverage, life insurance, three weeks vacation, tuition assistance, paid sabbatical, disability insurance to name a few. But it's not just the benefits, it's the family type culture that I love. Everyone has a lot to do and still has time to help their teammates, especially to assure that the customer has the best experience possible. Management is constantly assessing each employee's potential and invests resources to maximize observed potential. Lightspeed is truly an equal opportunity employers. Race, creed, color are often thought of as the main prejudices. However, many companies no not provide equal opportunities to potential employees that are at or near retirement age, women and the LGBT community. This is not the case at Lightspeed. They look at want you can contribute to the team for the benefit of the customer and ultimately to the company.

Cons

After being a member of the Lightspeed team almost six years now I can honestly say that I cannot identify any "cons" to the company.

Pros

Nice building and a good neighborhood lots of history in the market.

Cons

The owner is just such a fake “nice” personality. I think he’s getting tired though, hopefully someone will buy the company. You can only keep up with the charade so long eventually the native mode of what is inside will come out. Many people are fooled in the market and in the company, but oh my gosh, plastic fantastic humanoids.
