• Very casual work environment, both in dress and attitude. • Management isn't overbearing, sets very reasonable expectations, and respects your time and effort. • Great environment for learning basic web development and (should you take the initiative) web coding. You won't be working with the latest and greatest tools, but you'll end up being more resourceful as a result. Solid 1st stepping stone towards a career. • 401k with profit sharing is offered. • Pretty reasonable amount of vacation time, which increases yearly.
Cons
• Pay is considerably below the national average for the job you will be asked to do. (and is hourly) • No health benefits. • If you're smart, you'll reach a peak in terms of what you can learn in about a year. • If you've worked in web development before, this will probably feel like a downgrade. • Expect to wear every hat thrown at you. This is not just coding. You will be taking client phone calls, doing QA, working with databases, and even dabbling in graphic design. (Though there is a full-time graphic design position that obviously focuses more on that) Business trips are a possibility, but not guarunteed.
