Pros
Always something to do Laid back atmosphere, no silly busywork Interesting job Opportunity to be creative Great lower-level management (though I suppose it depends on the store) Flexible hours
Cons
Scheduling is not done through the individual studios, but Lifetouch's online system. This means people can schedule online, which is good, but the system keeps track of how busy the studio is, and as it gets busier, it opens more and more appointment slots. Meaning we have one every ten minutes. Which is ridiculous and we fall way behind. Also, they expect us to answer the phone every time it rings, and if we are busy, leave a message in the call log. When you're in the studio trying to keep a sitting down to 10-20 minutes and the phone keeps ringing off the hook, there is simply no time. The in-store customers should come first so we can keep on time. Lastly, this is one of those jobs where you shouldn't expect to get many hours per week. So it's better as a second job.
