Pros

I loved photographing kids birthdays, family portraits and senior portraits!

Cons

I worked for both the Traveling School Portrait side and the Portrait Studio side. The Traveling School Portrait job was very demanding. You used your own car and stayed overnight in hotels 4 nights a week. I put on 10,000 miles on my vehicle in 3 months and was only reimbursed a fraction of what I should have been. I transferred to the Portrait Studio as a team member after the spring season was over. This job was only part time and always had to work the weekends. After I was promoted to assistant manager we didn't have enough volume to make it technically full time but they had me work 35-40hrs a week. After a while I just felt like a number and really the company doesn't care about their part time employees. The turn over for hiring team members was crazy, and most just stayed for a couple months.

I do feel as though we could look at more ways for people to grow in their career here at Lifetouch.

Pros

Great Sales Team. Remote based position.

Cons

-Losing out to competitors has become acceptable or business as usual. -Management has become out of touch with what is going on in the field. -Outdated Photography equipment. -There is constant turnover with photographers. Difficult to keep good people when they are not paid well & have no structure. -Company is very reactionary. Making cuts seems to always be their answer to solve low profits.
