5yThis is interesting. We have never had a job title of Social Media Manager so not sure if you have the right place. However, the only employee we’ve hired to do social media (which wasn’t a manager) was let go within 2 mos due to attendance and being untruthful. It is extremely important to have policies because we are a medical facility and deal with very ill patients and protect our patients using policies. In the last 6 years since I have worked at LifeWorks Wellness Center we have grown from 14 staff to 47 staff. We have excellent staff retention, training and career advancement (team leaders and managers are promoted from within).
