Pros

Company keeps your caseload full. Help you get credentialed for most insurances so variety of populations and acuity levels. Provided in-site, hybrid and full remote work options. Provides variety of employee benefits, if you qualify provide CEU assistance and on-board training, consultation, and support.

Cons

*Almost impossible to get bonus or stocks, unless you are a very dedicated and opt to see a large number of clients. *No paid vacation, sick, holidays for Fee for Service providers. *To qualify for employee health benefits, 401K, etc. . You must make up any time off, including vacation, sick, holidays, etc. to make sure you make the slot available quotas(Providers only, admin and front staff etc. do not have these quotas). Even though it is already non-paid time. So you will need to longer work week hours for a cushion if you need it for time off, or you lose your benefits. This really only affects people who work less that 40 hrs per week. Quota is not above industry standards, but make sure to be aware for figuring out your work/life balance. *admin support can be a pro or con. Often questions in emails are not answered, but if you are willing and able to go to open office hours or training/consults, they answer and support you. *feels like company grew to fast and they are just catching up and now trying to put in universal policies, so a lot of changes currently.

Pros

Incredible place to work to build experience, receive supervision while supporting a diverse client population. Extremely flexible hours, opportunity to either work from home or in office with administrative staff. Truly caring, intentional, experienced regional leaders that are open to feedback and value their employees.

Cons

Working in mental health in a publicly held corporation has its conflicts of interest. No paid vacation time for FT employees which is counterintuitive to the work we do as trauma informed providers. No paid training. Profitability and bottom-line results for shareholders should not be reason to think of long term needs and burnout potential of providers.
