Doesn't care about employees, work culture has gone down the drain - Anonymous employee LifeStance Health Employee Review

Pros

The people that you get to work with directly are great, whether it be admin staff or clinicians, most patients are really nice too

Cons

Lifestance's expectations are atrocious, really changed the vibe and work culture at the office since the acquisition. Complete disregard for Covid concerns/restrictions, it was made clear consequences would be handed down if employees did not return to office. Forces departments to take on work that others cannot handle because they are overworked or understaffed. Complete disregard for clinician's POV on changes being made, only cares about the bottom dollar and patient retention (although patients have expressed frustration with changes as well).

Pros

Incredible place to work to build experience, receive supervision while supporting a diverse client population. Extremely flexible hours, opportunity to either work from home or in office with administrative staff. Truly caring, intentional, experienced regional leaders that are open to feedback and value their employees.

Cons

Working in mental health in a publicly held corporation has its conflicts of interest. No paid vacation time for FT employees which is counterintuitive to the work we do as trauma informed providers. No paid training. Profitability and bottom-line results for shareholders should not be reason to think of long term needs and burnout potential of providers.
