Expected to follow a strict script for communication with clients that removes individual intuitive agency or any creative problem-solving- all protocols were very hierarchical in nature & became more and more like a call center vs personalized, individual interactions (which is a huge turn off for people calling in for help with their mental health/to find a provider- they don't want to keep getting transferred to different departments or hear the same script from every person in any department, as if they're talking to a robot and not another human being). Another con was how they were making it so that you couldn't work part-time anymore (this is what I was told when I asked about it for future career planning) & so it became increasingly inflexible for those that wanted to pursue higher education or had other career aspirations outside of their company. The longer I stayed with the company and the more rules they added, the more I felt like my creative agency was becoming stifled.
