Pros

-Diverse hire of clinicians -Nice looking facility -Yearly survey for feedback -Patient's really get what they need when they can get access to care -The concept seems like it has potential, but even leadership has said that all departments are circling back to the basics due to not being able to when the company grew exponentially fast in little time.

Cons

-Low pay for workload -High turnover rate meaning increased workload for those who remain -Pay based on experience (which is fine) not completely accurate pertaining to others/new hires -Merit increase cut offs -Bonus structure -Minimum insurance benefits come with high deductible + high copays -Timely assistance for staff -Performative patient experience -Crisis protocols -Emergency protocols -No overtime -Not allowed to take unpaid time -Forced to use accrued PTO hours when there are internet issues if you cannot commute to another location when the closest office is 45-50 minutes away. -Performative warmth -Performative leadership -Dismissal on feedback/contributions -Emotionally taxing -Defensive responses from leadership

Pros

Incredible place to work to build experience, receive supervision while supporting a diverse client population. Extremely flexible hours, opportunity to either work from home or in office with administrative staff. Truly caring, intentional, experienced regional leaders that are open to feedback and value their employees.

Cons

Working in mental health in a publicly held corporation has its conflicts of interest. No paid vacation time for FT employees which is counterintuitive to the work we do as trauma informed providers. No paid training. Profitability and bottom-line results for shareholders should not be reason to think of long term needs and burnout potential of providers.
