Pros

From the top, they had revamped the training program since I had joined the company and have heard/seen great things from it. Most CA are older and want to mentor/train FOs to be future CAs. Company will consider hiring below minimums if you can pass sim rides and prove capable. Culture is overall pretty good, morality is pretty high and most people want to fly. Very rewarding job given the line of work. Expect to fly 300-400 hours a year. Pilots have been averaging 30-40 hours a month (base depending). 90% of the time you will make it back to your base, company covers per diem and hotel expenses if you duty out or weather blocks you from coming home. Management watches over each flight to ensure the safety of each flight and are always available to take calls. They have made measurable efforts to improve company training, safety, and QoL. Pilot housing and base housing is good at some bases. A/C are in good condition and maintenance is pretty on top of it. Aircraft are repaired in a reasonable time.

Cons

Pilot housing and base housing is a little poor at some bases. (however the company has been in the process of finding better arrangements for the crews). Pay is not great for FOs, but it can work depending on your situation, but you can expect great experience for advancing your career.

Pros

You are able to get into a King air and experience IFR flight.

Cons

1) what is said and what is done are extremely different. While being g recruited I was told that a position in my home state was available and that would be my location. They had me sign to work in kansas, a 7 hour commute. At "training" there were many promises to move me to my home state, all empty. Different states have different compensation, having been promised work in one state and working in Kansas which pays $9 and no overtime. Bills could not be paid. Which leads to 2) compensation, unless you wish to sleep in the off duty accommodations you can not afford anything. They will say you can earn $50 every time you drive an ambulance as a pilot. Another promise never fulfilled. 3) there were many day were you met the 14 hour duty time only to continue to fly part 91. These instances were allowed to continue until day shift was working night shift. 4) drama, not a day went by without complaints. Captains complaining about captains and back stabbing each other. The who is sleeping with who gossip was non-stop.
