Pros

From the moment I joined LifeLabs Learning, I was embraced by my team. The support I’ve received, both personally and professionally, has been amazing. My manager consistently ensures that my goals and needs are met, offering encouragement and flexibility when needed. The work culture here is truly person-centered and intentional, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued. My coworkers are some of the most intelligent, fun, and diverse people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. They bring unique perspectives to the table, and it's inspiring to collaborate with them daily. The best part? The skills we teach actually work! Not only do they help teams improve professionally, but they also help us all grow as individuals. LifeLabs Learning is a place where you can thrive, and I’m proud to be part of a company that invests so much in its people and clients alike!

Cons

Like many startups, we’ve faced financial challenges during this time of economic tension. This requires us to be highly resilient and adaptable to changes within the organization. Frequent change can be tough to navigate, but leadership is upfront about it and consistently provides encouragement, support, and transparency. While it can be challenging, it's clear that we're all in this together, working toward the same goals.

Pros

I've been at LifeLabs for several years, and I have loved the autonomy, commitment to values (not just words here), amazing people (smart and funny and kind - what more could you want?), and growth and learning opportunities I've found at LifeLabs. There's a lot of room for people to make stuff happen - and on the Sales team specifically, self-motivated, driven, and #AlwaysBeLearning-oriented folks are appreciated! I'm also excited about some of the recent investments we've made in bringing in tech that will help people do their jobs (Gong, outside sales training, etc.) While we have a lot of internal expertise, it's making it a lot easier for us to be effective when we can utilize best-in-class tech and learning!

Cons

Less of a con and just more two things to be aware of: 1) Change is a constant here. Even though LifeLabs has been around for more than 10 years, it operates as a startup in many ways. New systems and processes are coming often, so needing to do things the same way all the time doesn't really fly here. 2) Not every role at LifeLabs is designed to be a "lifetime role." The upside of a great culture is retention - people want to stay! The downside is that sometimes roles don't shift to continue responding to the evolving needs of individuals - LifeLabs is a place where you can be happy for years (like I have), but the two majority roles we have (sales and facilitation) don't see a ton of role evolution, so being willing to accept that is important to overall satisfaction.
