Pros

As someone that wants to have a meaningful, positive impact on the world while working alongside smart, authentic people, I couldn't ask for a better place to be. The fact that we see thousands of people address their stress, anxiety, depression, weight challenges, energy challenges and more in a significant way through our app and coaching solution is more than enough to keep me going; but to have a team that wakes up every day giving their best to reach more, do more and help more people is what makes this place truly great. Is it an easy gig? Definitely not. It's a challenge every day and requires a startup mindset, but that works for me!

Cons

Looking forward to hitting the point of growth where we can get some of the "bigger company" benefits, but really dig the free gym membership pool of $$ so all good for now.

Pros

LifeDojo is a well being startup that is on a great trajectory of growth. You wouldn't know it from the outside, but the company operates in an extremely lean fashion, with extremely smart and capable people in the leadership roles. Like most startups, there is a lot to do and not necessarily enough people to fill the roles. But that gives capable and enthusiastic individuals the amazing opportunity to really grow and learn in various roles with the company. If you like trying on different hats, and seeing which might suit you best, this is a company that offers that sort of opportunity. If you're a one hat, and only one hat, sorta person, this company might not be for you. The people at this company are truly smart and enthusiastic about changing the well being industry and are on an incredible trajectory to really make a dent.

Cons

Because the organization is so lean, there isn't truly an operational framework to follow. You have to be open to ambiguity in your role and your work flows. Communication for team collaboration can sometimes be difficult because with a small team, everyone has several different projects they are simultaneously working on and you have to initiate in order to get a meeting or time to talk. Online communication makes it a bit easier though, and everyone checks their Slack messages eventually.

Thank you for such thoughtful feedback - it means a lot to us. I think we are all thrilled to have been able to grow over the past several months as revenue and investment allows us to scale, but we remain appreciative of the hard work, passion and adaptability required of our earliest teammates. Great work!
