Overall great experience with Lifebound LLC - Sales, Marketing and Communications Manager LifeBound Employee Review

When I walked into LifeBound's office almost three years ago and asked for work to do, they find a way to involve me in a great national effort. Improving our students' chances to get good educations and good careers is a valuable and important service, and I'm happy to be connected with LifeBound and the work they do. They've given me valuable experience and opened doors for me.

My stated work schedule was very accommodating, generous to the point that I sometimes wasn't sure how to prioritize my work.

-Hard work is recognized and rewarded -The entire staff is supportive and friendly. The company stresses its sense of community, and it felt like I was very much a member of a cohesive team -As an intern I was given enough autonomy to get experience with self directed work. I worked directly with the founder quite a bit and she paid attention to my personal abilities to properly gear how much to prescribe versus let me do on my own. -Gave me a better picture of the inner workings of a small business. I've had other internships where it felt like I was just doing tasks for a supervisor at a company I didn't really know. Lifebound feels much more transparent. I learned more about other positions/jobs within the company. This is partially because of how much everyone works together at all levels, and also because its an honest and welcoming company culture -Beautiful and charming office space -Enthusiastic and mission driven leader

-Lots of working together can be a con for some people. Collaboration is a big deal and if you prefer to do everything on your own then it might not be a great place for you -It's a small company. It's not as easy to climb an entire career latter at one place unless you're at a larger organization
