Pros

Great compensation opportunity and work-life balance for career personal trainers. Amazing work environment. You can easily make 40-60k within your first year and upwards of 80k if you put your head down and grind. Ceiling within a 40 hour work week is around 120-130k, but if you want, you could work more and make much more.

Cons

There is a significant ceiling to your growth and compensation, unless you have a long timeline to your growth expectations. If your vision is to go from an entry position to management, understand that this likely takes 3-4 years at a minimum and then an additional 3-4 years for each positional bump at a minimum. If you aspire to make 200k plus, understand that corporate fitness likely isn’t that arena for you.
