With over a decade of experience in hospitality, I can say, hands down, that this was the worst company I have ever worked for. It’s the coldest, most sterile work environment I’ve ever experienced with what to me seemed like a cult-like approach to management. From dictating what shirt you wore for your LinkedIn profile picture to actually providing a list of banned or “forbidden” words that could not be used at the company. This place is rotten from the top down, The CEO has a major case of imposter syndrome and has NO CLUE what’s going on and has never worked at a hotel a single day of his life… he created a hospitality company with no soul… no hospitality. From INSANE turnover and blatant disregard for the success of clients to sub-par product quality. Looking back, one major red flag should’ve been how they describe themselves and the other copy used in their marketing. So fake and phony with an heir of pretense that almost seems like a parody of itself. Here’s a few quotes from their website… “Contextual hotels with narrative, substance, and locally-rooted restaurants and bars. Artfully designed to bring meaning to life and to the universe.” - like bruh, what does that even mean?! “We believe in travel - that it shapes and molds us into who we are and who we will become.” - um, ok sure. I can go on and on… An inauthentic player in this game will never be successful. Best of luck to the team in the future.
