The mission is inspiring. Probably the best trauma treatment team in the country.

No much support from their parent company. The building is old; they need to grow and help more people. Maybe provide services to people covered under Medicaid.

Working with the patients was the best aspect of the job. I learned many things while there from some staff. There were times that were very hectic with the acuity of the patients. Very special skills are needed to deal with crisis situations.

Much of the upper management was extremely difficult to deal with. At the time I was there some were very disingenuous, allowed certain people to get away with extremely inappropriate and harmful behavior which filtered down to the patients. These senior management troublemakers left very negative remarks in personnel files which keeps individuals from rehire. When the malfeasants were let go the negative remarks should have been taken out of personnel files of innocent former employees.
