Pros
They're generous and respectful, they express appreciation for my work both verbally and monetarily, and the work itself is on average low-stress. After I proved I could do the work, they trust me to get it done and don't micromanage, although help is given if I look like I'm getting bogged down with too much on my plate. My coworkers are very supportive and overall a very positive and intelligent group of people.
Cons
My income varies from one week to the next, which is partly my responsibility since it's over 50% commission-based, but also depends on the number of incoming leads...we don't make cold calls, and it's not the type of service where we can reach out to former customers for another sale (let's hope not, anyway) so there is very little opportunity to seek out more business when the phone isn't ringing.
