      Pros

      Independent, owner was wonderful did not micromanager me at all instead we worked as a team and untied our staff by allowing them to take ownership as well. Now has sold and will become a franchise hotel.

      Cons

      hotel chain developed a mile away and another is planning to build less than a mile.

      Set hours, good tips, easy location, relaxed attire

      Cons

      Set hours hardly can get time off. Even though I had vacation days I could not be able to use them first three years.
