The Bookkeeper is responsible for AP, AR, data and account management, sales and financial reporting, compliance filing, domain and information management and communications. Business administration and management are chronically under-staffed. Consequently, administrative, business, customer, sales (direct and online), order, and shipping management are assigned to bookkeeping. With proficiency, this role is further leveraged for HR, payroll, and benefits management. Time off is begrudged and support recalcitrant. Knowledge workers and Supervisory staff grossly under-utilized. CEO favorites. Secret meetings. Rampant work avoidance. Institutionalized hazing.
