Pros

- Great working environment with colleagues that are willing to help and bosses that are always ready to listen. Most importantly, people here are authentic and function more like a family than your typical corporate. - "door-is-always-open" culture. Bi-annual performance reviews and the ability to ask for constant feedback from the bosses is a great plus in my opinion. - Lots of autonomy given at an early stage. Allows you to really contribute and grow the product (and yourself). At the end of your tenure, you can proudly say that you contributed in X and X areas. Scary at times because mistakes will be made, but there is a strong emphasis learning from our mistakes and looking forward. No finger-pointing culture that I know of (Underrated trait that people often take for granted) - Business is at an inflection point where product is ripe for scalability and customer expansion. - Generous PTO package and lots of travel opportunities.

Cons

- Too much to do, too little resources. As much as everyone is working their bum off, there is a need to increase the developer headcount. (I believe management is working on this already) - Sometimes it can get very stressful when things break after a rollout. A more robust release management system will go a long way to scaling the software growth. - Small-ish company means you will have to be a self-starter to thrive in this environment. - Fairly niche industry that might not be everyone's cup of tea.

Pros

- Great exposure to senior management (Directors give Analysts a lot of room to grow and interact with clients independently) - Gather experience with both IT solution implementation and management consulting projects - Loads of travel opportunities - Work life balance compared to other consulting firms

Cons

- Small office means more is expected of a Business Analyst to be self-starting and independent - Career progression is less structured
