Pros
Well, most of the students appreciate the faculty. Some departments fully support their adjuncts, treat them as much as possible as a part of the faculty- which they are.
Cons
There is NOTHING for adjuct faculty. Even the pay scale is behind other area schools. A guy I know worked there almost 20 years, 3 to 4 classes a semester. He died suddenly. His family received NOTHING, not even a copied note from the president. Then there was the cancellation of Winter Commencement over a few cases of measles. Graduates were rightfully irate, as were parents.
