Pros
Work hard, learn and strive to do well and your career will flourish. You don't need to know everything, just have the right attitude and show up every day. They value the type of person and your work ethic more than your immediate base knowledge. People can be trained, but a good personality is harder to find.
Cons
Nothing more than the usual downfalls of the automotive business. Sometimes you have to work out doors, and sometimes the customers are a bit much but beyond that its a step ahead of your average mechanical shop.
