Assistant managers have no real store management responsibility, but are merely key holders and the pay low pay reflects this. Hours were often cut by manager so that she could get a bonus, leaving a large task load for the remaining employees, store manager never worked after 4 pm on weekdays and not at all on weekends, so many employees only met her at the interview and never again after that.
