Pros
The only things that I can see as a benefit is:
(1) being able to buy accessories, such as bag-packs, shoes, or even a few clothes for a lower price (bc of a discount)
(2) being able to gain experience from a small business format, and see how the company works overall and how a business functions
(3) gaining experiences as a sales associate
Cons
The cons far outweigh the positive by a lot, depending on the employees outlook on life:
(1) Many of the employees here are women in their late 20s and at most, later 50s. Many of them tend to either not have been successful in their lives to end up working here as a full time job while others have husbands to maintain them but they choose to do something with their time. In turn, they end up working here for the sake of wasting time.
(2)Many of the workers are here for mostly the paycheck. In other words, "clock in, and clock out" and move about their lives.
(3)Most of the employees seem to have little to no ambition or drive to be successful in their lives and often don't have any useful information to help someone else in any way except for gossiping
(4) Negativity and ignorance is filled with most workers since they always seem to talk bad about the customers, or about doing so much work all the time. Most of them seem to always say "I don't want to be here" or comments such as "ughh, I need to get paid more" or "I need coffee!"
(4)Employee moral and work ethic is poor. They seem to have this idea to pass off their work onto another employee all the time and do as little work as possible
(5) its simply not motivating to work here at all, and it doesn't have enough benefits other than have it light up a tad bit on your resumé.
(6) Department managers don't really seem to care much about the the stores well being, or about improving the stores standards. In other words, they put in about 85% of the work, while the remaining 15% is lost due to their lack of leadership, optimism, resourcefulness and ambition
(7) Sales associates are required to sell as many items as possible in order to expand on company revenue. With that said, morals and ethics are controversial to working here since many of the items are bought in abundance in this store and sold for 2.5x the original price its bought. The markup price is insane for no reason and many of the items are cheap
(8) this place is simply materialistic and certainly seem to attract entitled people of all backgrounds. Customers are constantly fed with unessacary items, told that it looks good and its "perfect" and "absolutely gorgeous" and then told to buy it. In simpler words, the whole store is "fake" and feeds on entitled people who buy things that they don't need at all.
