      Pros

      One of the best thing I find helpful to me as a tutor on Lessonpal is they have this feature wherein, all the subjects that you teach/tutor is being suggested to you directly once a request comes in on the platform. You can easily review and reply to it to offer your service.

      Cons

      For me personally, I find it quite difficult at the moment to get students. I also think that the actual interface is kind of boring.

      Pros

      It's generally not hard to find people to tutor (especially during the school year), and the quality of students is generally pretty high. You do have to reply to a lot of ads, but if you do that you will find people. Lessonpal handles all of the payment stuff so I don't have to worry about that.

      Cons

      You do have to pay your own self-employment taxes since Lessonpal isn't an employer and so doesn't send you a W-2 form.

      Everyone undercuts their rates, so hard to get payed well.
