Great product I guess but too small and will be stepped on by the giants - Regional Sales Manager Leostream Employee Review

Leostream is a working environment unlike any other. The work/life balance and overall flexibility is unmatched. No dress code, days off and holidays as you need them, flexible working hours and ability to work from home basically whenever. As long as you are generating the results expected of you, no one really cares how you get it done. This environment is perfect for someone like me, who basically hates being told what to do. I decide how to best spend my time each day and I know my ideas and contributions are heard and taken seriously. Also, they just opened up an office in Chinatown, which is an easy commute if you live near a commuter rail (like me!). They are flexible if you want to work out of Chinatown or Waltham though.

Like a past reviewer said, not everyone can cut it at Leostream. Don't mistake the lack of rules for a lazy environment. You are expected to be able work independently and have enough self-discipline to do your job without a manager breathing down your neck. If you can't, they are quick to cut dead weight.

Not everyone can cut it at Leostream. The last reviewer probably couldn't. It is a 100% self motivated environment. No one is going to breathe down your neck and tell you how to do your job, that's up to you. What they will expect is results, by whatever means necessary. They are a small company who competes with giants, and has been doing a damn good job of it for the last 12 years. So, if you are going to work there, you need to be ready to take on the challenge, and wear multiple hats. If you can, however, you are rewarded with a laid back company culture and some great camaraderie. Oh, and free lunch Fridays, and a beer fridge in the back.

No one is going to tell you what to do, so a lot of times you need to figure it out for yourself. Don't expect to come in every morning and have your boss tell you what to do today. This is great for some people, and hell for others.
