Pros

Men do really well here. If you start off young in the company and grow with it you’ll have a great career. Heavily based on relationships. If your face fits you’ll fly

Cons

Cliques across the whole organisation Boys club Bullying Talent mapping for head office in Italy only allows people who are under 42 years old because Italian HQ do not consider people are leaders if they have not made it by then. HR take people off the mapping. Women are few and far between. HR leaders want to revert to British Aerospace only one or two of them have any work experience outside of Leonardo. Mid career changes coming to Leonardo need to have a technical role as a clerical role you’ll not fit in. Bullying not addressed one example a HR leader he just moved around. Very competitive and back biting Would constantly hear a wider team member in Basildon talking unprofessionally about a colleague in a talent role who had not long started and she would encourage others to bully her. Sounded really unprofessional when the two talent / L&D women one Basildon and one Luton would meet up. Preference for likeable people with little expertise.

Pros

There is not one pro I can think of.

Cons

The culture is extremely toxic and divisive. There is a clear preference shown toward Italian employees over U.S. employees, which creates an unfair and frustrating work environment. Communication is often unprofessional, with frequent yelling, finger-pointing, and disrespectful comments. Management has failed to establish clear roles and responsibilities, leading to constant confusion and conflict between employees. Engineering leadership appears heavily driven by favoritism and routinely treats employees with a lack of professionalism and respect.
